This is a bit of a strange story.
Benito Mussolini's daughter, Alessandra Mussolini, is trying to have the kind of political rise that Donald Trump had here in the United States. Like with Marine LePen in France, she is a far right-wing candidate who even more transparently flirts with fascism, which her grandfather of course not only brought to Italy, but virtually invented.
She recently had a little miniature online war with famous actor and comedian Jim Carrey, who had posted a drawing that he had done online, showing how Benito Mussolini and his wife, hanging upside down after they were defeated at the end of World War II. Clear,y she took exception to that, and referred to Carrey as a "bastard."
And still more news with the Mussolini family: the great grandson of Benito Mussolini, Caio Mussolini, is now entering Italian politics. He is claiming that Facebook is taking away his freedom of speech, and that he is facing what he described as "discrimination."
As for his ideology, he claims that his political stance is “a post-fascist who refers to those values in a non-ideological way”.
As Jim Carrey might say, "Alllll-righty, then!"
