Remember the B-52's?
They were a fun band who had some measure of commercial success in the late eighties and early nineties. Their music was not too dark or serious in terms of lyrics. They just played catchy, fun music that was popular to dance to.
I remember being impressed by the girls in the band, both of whom looked and sounded incredible.
Well, the B-52's kind of faded a bit after their relatively brief moment in the sun, when they were regularly on the radio. But they are about to mount a bit of a comeback, as they celebrate the band's 40th anniversary, a number which, frankly, seems impossible!
