Let's take a look at the CFL action from last week:
Winnipeg 31, Saskatchewan 13 - The Blue Bombers stayed the hottest team in the league by beating up on the Roughriders, as they close in on the top of the regular season CFL rankings. They improve to 13-2 and are just about there to be the top seed entering the playoffs. As for the Roughriders, they fall to 6-9 after suffered their fourth straight.
British Columbia 34, Ottawa 19 - The Lions bounced back from a disappointing setback against the Stampeders by stomping all over the Redblacks, who remain the team with the worst record in the CFL. British Columbia needed the win to improve to 10-4 and to still have a chance and stay within striking distance of Winnipeg. As for Ottawa, they fall to 3-11.
Montreal 25, Edmonton 18 - The Alouettes took care of business and got past the Edmonton Elks, notching another important win. This was their third straight win, as they improve to 7-7. This win allowed them to pull to within a game of the East-leading Toronto Argonauts, who lost. As for Edmonton, they fall to 4-11 on the year.
Calgary 29, Toronto 9 - The Stampeders dominated the Argonauts, allowing them to stay hot with a second straight win. The Argos really suffered with this loss, as they are now only one game ahead of Montreal in the East, even though they have led pretty much since the beginning of this season. They drop to 8-8, while Calgary improves to 10-5.
