Dr. Oz, a nutcase Republican running for Congress in Pennsylvania, and with the backing of Trump (of course) has been making a number of headlines, as well as late night comedy punchlines, with some of the things that he says and does. Recently, he gave a speech at a high end fundraiser in California right close to Hitler's car.
I mean, of all the places in the world, and even in the Lyon Air Museum, in southern California, that he was delivering his speech in, why would anyone pick that particular spot, just steps away from the old car of the Fuhrer? Was there literally no other spot that they could pick?
Many conservatives seem to be arguing that the media is making far too big a deal with that, and that Hitler's car just happened to be in the picture because of the angle of the photograph taken.
Still, it makes you wonder why, when they are clearly being accused of admiring the basic tenets of white supremacy and/or fascism, they would not at least be quite a bit more careful, does it not? I mean, if they really cared about continually being taken for fascists and/or closet white supremacists?
Also, it is a reminder that Trump once posted a video clip of one of his supporters shouting "white power!" briefly, before taking it down. And remember, Trump received the enthusiastic backing of white nationalists, including the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke.
They're not even really hiding their flirtation with fascism anymore, are they?
