Red Hot Chili Peppers Make History, Becoming First Band in 17 Years to Top Album Sales Chart Twice in Same Year

It has been a very busy year for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They released an album early this year and embarked on a tour. Then, they released a second album release.

Now, they have made some history this year, as well. Not only did they release both of those albums, Dream Canteen and Unlimited Love, but both of those albums top album sales charts in the same year. Thus, they became the first band in the better part of two decades to achieve that feat, with the last being System of a Down.

Impressive!

And what a historic year for the band.
