Former Trump lawyer Ty Cobb (not the baseball legend) recently went on television and said something that felt startling to hear from someone who used to legally represent MAGA and Trump. Yet, it also felt very much the truth.
Here is what he said:
‘The Constitution is not adequate to deal with a president as evil as Trump’
Yup. That sounds about right. Hard to imagine that our Founding Fathers imagined that one of the two major political parties would become tantamount to a dangerous cult, while the other official major party would often be in collusion with that party, brothers in arms, getting rich and carefully preserving their privileges and perks by feeling off the whole corrupt and bloated carcass of what used to be American democracy.
What sad times we live in.
