This winter feels like it very likely will be more serious than some of the other winters that we have experienced here in New Jersey in recent years.
We already have had a few storms. But this one felt particularly nasty. It might not look like so much in terms of inches of snow, but how the ice kind of caused all sorts of havoc. It made travel extremely slow going, and certainly made tasks like shoveling, cleaning cars, or even walking on sidewalks or paths a lot more tricky than it otherwise normally would be.
Then we had extremely cold temperatures, particularly at night, which made things extra icy.
It is over now. I was able to get to where I needed to go, although certainly not without some stress any annoyances in the process.
Still, it felt like an opportunity to take some pictures of these wintry conditions, which seemed worth sharing here.
