Houston 20, LA Chargers 16 - The Texans record-setting defense clamped down on the Chargers, It proved to be the low-scoring affair that seems like the trademark for the Texans this season.. They needed this win to keep their hopes for the AFC South title alive, and they got the job done. In the process, they slammed the door shut for the Chargers own hopes for a division title, as this loss, coupled with Denver's win on Christmas, secured the AFC West division for the Broncos. Meanwhile, the Texans improve to 11-5 and have a huge showdown with the Jaguars next weekend for the AFC South title. My pick: Accurate
Baltimore 41, Green Bay 24 - These two teams are both really hard to figure. After the collapse last weekend, I admittedly underestimated the Ravens, figuring that they were done. Had no chance, really, to catch the Steelers. That remains to be seen, but they deserve a ton of credit nevertheless for going on the road and winning against a solid Packers team while playing in frigid Lambeau Field. The Ravens looked explosive on offense, while their defense contained Green Bay fairly well. So Baltimore earns a win that, at least for now, keeps their flickering playoff hopes alive, as they improve to 8-8 on the season. As for the Packers, they fall to 9-6-1, and this loss secured the NFC North division title for the Chicago Bears. The Packers will still be heading to the playoffs, however. But they will have to go on the road throughout, most likely.. My pick: Inaccurate
