Robert Reich Posts Video About "Zombie Myths" (Popular Economic Lies) That Never Seem to Go Away in the United States

Ran into this video by Robert Reich recently. Think that it was likely meant for the Halloween season, although again, I only saw it for the first time just days ago.

Anyway, Halloween or not, it seemed like something worth sharing. After all, it seems that zombies (braindead people) keeping trying to convince us that the largely discredited ideas of trickledown economics are alive and well and working. That, despite continuing growing economic disparity, with the rich hoarding wealth and growing predictably richer, year after year, while the rest of us just get poorer.

These policies failed multiple times in not too long ago American history. These failed economic policies led to the Great Depression in the late 1920's and through the 1930's. More recently, they led to what came to be known as the Great Recession, the most serious economic chapter in recent decades. So maybe you might think that we learned some lessons from all of this?

Nope. Not so much.

Maybe next time, eh?
